WIRED Initiative Releases Innovation in Education Funding Opportunity

Southeast Missouri Business and Education Leaders to Form Regional P-20 Council

 

Business and Education leaders from throughout the Southeast Missouri region met Thursday, July 24 at Jackson High School to structure an organization dedicated to addressing issues facing the business and education communities both now and in the future.  The development of strong partnerships among business, education, workforce, and community organizations will be imperative in increasing the skills of the workforce and preparing for a 21st century information economy.  Participation by anyone interested in the region's talent development is encouraged.  The next meeting is scheduled for August 26 and will be held in four locations throughout the region and will be connected by ITV.
