Facilitation of formation of DMO in Parklands area

I went to Sen. Engler's 2nd mtg. on tourism in the Parklands area Monday, and he would like to see a Designated Marketing Organization formed across those counties so they're eligible to receive state marketing funds.  They had several problems: lack of enough of the right people in attendance, lack of knowledge of existing organizations, and no one to drive this issue.  What does the Leadership Council think about helping this form and involving the Mississippi River Hills group as the possibility for the DMO?
